New Brunswick is located under Quebec 's Gaspé Peninsula and beside the State of Maine. It's varied landscape, coastal mountains setting and small town charm atmosphere makes it a desirable place to visit. From its Acadian coast to its pretty villages along the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick entices couples to explore this eastern Maritime province of Canada. New Brunswick's capital is Fredericton, offering a plentiful of galleries and art museums. Saint John is a port city on the Fundy Bay in New Brunswick and is home to many cruise ships.
There is one popular site you must see and it is just by the bridge over the St. John River. This is where the highest tides in the world appear, and actually reverse the flow of the water. If you hit it just right, you can witness this strange occurrence for yourself. Be sure not to miss this phenomenon.
